SESSION 1 Become a Digital Conservationist with Your Cell Phone :)
- Do you have a Cell phone with a Camera and Love animals? If your answer is YES You will LOVE this 4 week class that will give you many ways that you can HELP document animals in your local community or even while you are traveling. This information can be vital to help save the lives of animals, and in some cases prevent them from going extinct! You'll learn to use the latest apps and how to document your footage and share it with scientist in your community.
- Week 1- What in the world is a Digital Conservationist and how to use your phone to be one. (Special Guest)
- Week 2- How to create to use cool apps to help identify and protect animals in your neighborhood
- Week 3- How to write a Blog and get published
- Week 4- How to create a local conservation project to save species in your neighborhood.
SESSION 2 Save Animals in Your Neighborhood
- Have you ever come across a baby bird or injured animal and not know what to do? Or have you noticed that the rabbits, raccoons, little toads and other animals that once lived in your neighborhood have disappeared? With more than 25 years of veterinary and teaching experience Erik Callender and friends will give you the tools you need to help injured animals and create a welcoming environment for native animals and plants in your neighborhood.
